Hello everyone! How is your summer? This post is long overdue (I know!) and I’ve been busy with projects and can’t wait to update you on them. Soon enough!

When I am not busy with orders and keeping the plants alive, I’ve always longed for a backpack adventure — the kind which you would meet new found mates trekking on a rugged terrain.

*POOF!

Through a strange twist of fate, I found myself embarking on a Bathtub Quest, alongside with the other 9 bloggers for the Hong Kong Summer Adventure. As you may have known, Shinnpark.com have been awarded the Best e-Commerce Blog in the second year! Thanks to omy.sg and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), we’ve got a chance of a lifetime to experience the exciting Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival with its fantastic dragon boat action, great food and tons of drinks along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront from 23-25 July 2010 with air and hotel accommodation! And on top of this, a few of us will be getting an awesome makeover by famous Hong Kong stylist, Celia Wong!

The Official First Meet-up

Just before the meet-up, I was brimming with excitement (I just can’t stop smiling!) and couldn’t wait to meet everyone on-board. Everyone was… so proper and flashing polite smiles. Okay, although there may be a few awkward ‘you-can-hear-the-aircon’ moments, Darren was really the cool ice-breaker. If not for his spontaneity, we won’t have this first group photo!

Although we came from all walks of life, we had one thing in common. Blogging with passion! When we mingle a little, the feeling came instantly to me like, pen-pals (except we don’t write to each other, haha) There was this odd sense of nostalgia and familiarity.
